INTERIOR LIGHTING FOR THE 70 SERIES
SEE WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AFTER DARK
The factory cabin lighting on a 70 Series is dim by modern standards. A single tungsten bulb in the dome light, weak map lights on the sun visors, and no decent illumination at all in the rear cargo area on most variants. Aftermarket interior lighting upgrades replace the old tungsten globes with bright LED equivalents, add map lighting where Toyota left it out, and bring the cabin up to standards that make finding things at night an actual possibility. For touring and camping use, decent interior lighting is the difference between a calm camp setup and a frustrated rummage in the dark.
LED REPLACEMENTS WITH WARM AND COOL OPTIONS
The LED upgrades in this collection drop into the existing factory lamp positions and connect to the factory wiring without splicing. Output is significantly brighter than the original tungsten globes, with a longer service life of 50,000 hours or more. Warm white options (around 3000K colour temperature) preserve the soft cabin feel that owners often prefer at night. Cool white options (6000K and up) produce a brighter, more workshop-feel light that suits cargo bay and rear seat use. Visor LED mirror kits include built-in lighting around the mirror surface for proper face-on illumination at night.
FITS THE FULL 70 SERIES CABIN
Interior lighting upgrades are largely standardised across the modern 70 Series body styles because Toyota uses the same lamp socket sizes across the cabin. The 76 Wagon, 78 Troop Carrier, and 79 single cab and dual cab all use the same dome and map light fittings. Each listing confirms exact body style and year range before you order. LED visor mirrors are body-style specific because the visor shape varies slightly. Pair with sun visor storage organisers and interior trim upgrades for a complete cabin refresh.
