GET ON THE WAGON ROOF WITHOUT DENTING THE PANELS
ACCESS THE ROOF WITHOUT TURNING IT INTO AN OBSTACLE COURSE
A loaded 76 Wagon roof rack is doing real work. Awning, tent, jerry cans, recovery tracks, solar. Climbing up to access any of it without a ladder turns into an awkward routine of standing on tyres, gripping rain channels, and dragging muddy boots up the side panels. A purpose-built rear ladder gives you proper rung spacing from ground level to the roof line. Faster access, safer footing, and no more dings or scratches in the rear quarter panels from getting up there the hard way.
POWDER-COATED STEEL OR ALUMINIUM
Each ladder in this collection is built from powder-coated steel or aluminium with wide flat rungs spaced for work boots. The mount attaches to the rear tailgate or quarter panel using factory hinge points or supplied brackets, no drilling. The ladder folds close to the body when not deployed, adding minimal vehicle length for parking, reversing, and tight tracks. Rated to support a fully-grown adult plus the gear you are loading onto or unloading from the rack.
HZJ76, VDJ76, AND GDJ76 SPECIFIC
Wagon ladders differ slightly between generations because the rear tailgate and quarter panel layout updates affect the mounting point. HZJ76 (pre-2007), VDJ76 V8 (2007 to 2023), and GDJ76 (2024 onward) variants each have their own ladder option. Each listing confirms exact year fitment. Wagon ladders share some mounting hardware with Troopy ladders where the rear barn-door configuration allows, but the wagon version is specifically sized to the single tailgate format.
