The 2016 onwards 70 Series came factory with a diesel particulate filter that must remain fitted to keep the vehicle road-legal. The factory exhaust between the DPF and the tailpipe is restrictive enough that even keeping the DPF in place, there is real performance to be unlocked from an aftermarket DPF-back system. A DPF adaptor kit bridges the factory DPF outlet to an aftermarket 3 inch or 4 inch exhaust pipe with the right flange, gasket, and hardware. The result is a cleaner-flowing rear section, lower exhaust gas temperatures under load, and a deeper note, all without removing the emissions equipment.

STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION, OEM-SPEC FLANGES

Each adaptor kit in this collection is built from 409 grade stainless steel to handle the temperature cycles and corrosion that mild steel cannot. The factory DPF flange dimensions are matched exactly so the connection seals against the supplied gasket without leaks. The downstream connection is sized for common 3 inch or 4 inch aftermarket exhaust systems. Hardware includes new flange bolts, exhaust gaskets, and where required, OEM-spec catalytic converter for vehicles where the cat needs to stay in place for compliance. Installation is bolt-on with no welding or cutting.

This collection covers DPF adaptor kits for the 76 Wagon, 78 Troop Carrier, and 79 single cab and dual cab built from late 2016 onwards when the DPF was introduced to the 70 Series range.
