Most 76 owners spend serious money on a bull bar at the front and never think about what is happening at the rear of the wagon. But the back end is where stones from following traffic hit, where you reverse into a low tree stump, where a hi-lift jack needs a real mounting point, and where a spare wheel and jerry cans would ideally live. A heavy-duty steel rear bar replaces the lightweight factory bumper with a chassis-bolted platform that protects the rear panel, carries spares and recovery gear, and provides rated recovery points for serious off-road use.

SWING ARMS, JERRY CAN MOUNTS, HI-LIFT POINTS

Our 76 rear bar range is built from 3mm steel with durable powder-coated finish. Swing-away arms carry the spare wheel and one or two jerry cans on either side, with gas-strut assist that makes opening them easy even fully loaded. Integrated hi-lift jacking points give you rated recovery without carrying a separate base plate. LED tail-light upgrades replace the factory units. Over-centre latches lock the arms in place to eliminate rattling on corrugated roads. Most bars include integrated towing hitches as part of the same fabrication.

SUITS HZJ76, VDJ76, AND GDJ76 BODY STYLES

The 76 Wagon tailgate hinges and rear chassis configuration changed slightly between generations, so rear bars are platform-specific. HZJ76 bars suit the original tailgate. VDJ76 bars (2007 to 2023) match the V8 era tailgate and chassis mount layout. GDJ76 bars match the new 2024 facelift design. Each listing confirms exact year fitment.
