    MORE DETAILS

Raising the bonnet becomes a one-touch job instead of a two-handed wrestle. These gas struts lift and hold the bonnet for you, so checking oil, coolant or batteries at a remote camp takes seconds.

They really earn their keep on a lifted Cruiser, where you would otherwise stand on a tyre or the bull bar just to reach up and prop it open.

    Fits without drilling.

    COMPATIBILITY

    76, 78 and 79 series 2024-

    SPECIFICATIONS

    • Chrome-plated rod increases corrosion and corrosion resistance for higher quality and more durable lift support

    • Heavy gauge steel pressure tube provides long life

    • No drilling required

One of our customers called it the best mod they've ever done to their 79. For a new vehicle that you'll be opening the bonnet on regularly, gas struts are a genuine quality-of-life improvement.

Like our pre-facelift version, we'd recommend looking for a YouTube install guide before you start. It's a straightforward install once you see how the brackets mount.
