The Redback Extreme Duty Twin Exhaust for 79 Series Landcruiser (2016‑on) is a heavy‑duty 3″ twin‑pipe (DPF‑back) exhaust system built to deliver superior flow, sound and durability for diesel‑equipped 79 Series trucks. Made in Australia from 409 stainless steel, the system uses robust 4‑bolt, 10 mm thick flange plates, extreme‑duty hanger brackets, pressed fire‑ring gaskets, and a removable 1/4″ NPT plug boss for optional EGT sensor installation. It’s coated in premium heat‑proof paint for long-term resistance to corrosion and high exhaust temperatures. Depending on preference the exhaust can be configured with twin 5″ straight‑through resonators for a balanced tone — or muffler‑delete (pipe‑only) for maximum flow and aggressive sound. The twin layout helps reduce back pressure while improving exhaust efficiency and throttle response. Designed for 79 Series models with DPF. Typical installation takes about 1–2 hours.
